Outdoor lights and speakers
The Aurora 16BHX has outdoor LED party lights and a JBL Bluetooth speaker built into the exterior. Both run off the 12V system and work with or without shore power.
Outdoor LED lights
Section titled “Outdoor LED lights”The exterior LED lights are mounted along the awning rail and/or the exterior wall. They provide ambient lighting for the campsite at night.
Turning on the LED lights
Section titled “Turning on the LED lights”- Locate the exterior light switch on the main control panel inside the camper (usually labeled “Porch Light” or “Awning Light”).
- Flip the switch to turn the lights on.
- Some models have a dimmer — rotate or slide to adjust brightness.
- The LED lights draw minimal 12V power — safe to run all night on a charged battery.
- If the lights don’t come on, check the 12V fuse panel for a blown fuse.
- Lights will not work if the main 12V disconnect switch is off.
JBL Bluetooth speaker
Section titled “JBL Bluetooth speaker”The exterior JBL speaker is mounted on the outside of the camper and connects via Bluetooth to your phone or device.
Pairing and using the speaker
Section titled “Pairing and using the speaker”- Locate the speaker power button on the exterior panel or speaker unit itself.
- Press and hold the power button until you hear a tone or see an indicator light.
- On your phone, open Bluetooth settings and look for a device named “JBL” or similar.
- Select it to pair — you should hear a confirmation tone.
- Play audio from your phone — it will come through the exterior speaker.
Reconnecting after the first pair
Section titled “Reconnecting after the first pair”- The speaker remembers the last paired device. Turn it on and it will reconnect automatically if your phone’s Bluetooth is on.
- If it doesn’t reconnect, go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and tap the JBL device to connect manually.
- The speaker runs off 12V power from the camper — it is not battery-powered independently.
- Volume can be controlled from your phone or from the speaker’s volume buttons.
- Turn the speaker off when not in use to conserve 12V battery, especially when dry camping.
- Bluetooth range is typically 30 ft — stay within range of the camper.
